Was it faith that built a BRIDGE?
I thought connection was something you had to find..
But connection isn't just something you look for...
It's built by SHOWING UP.
It's being there for the wins, the losses, and everything in between.
It's the people who choose to stand in your corner.
Those who cheer loud for you.
Those who are there when you can't do it alone.
A beautiful reminder that we are all interconnected, piece by piece
Oh beautiful

The last 6 years of my journey have been a whirlwind of growth. From moving 1400 miles away from home as a single mother. Being in the middle of the pandemic and having my heart broken-losing everything, my job, my home, my peace and having to move all the way back home completely empty handed. There were times I didn’t know how I would make it. Sitting in the middle of loneliness, going through so many life changes and trying to find my way. There were times I’d sit in my car and cry. I wanted connection and I wanted community but didn’t know how to find it. Little by little, I started putting my pride aside. Showing up in places where I needed help and in the end helping others. Showing up to community events and fundraising. I remember being so afraid. But I realized that the world doesn’t have to be a lonely or scary place when there’s connection. The random conversation in the grocery store. The compliment you get on a night on the town. Helping a stranger change a tire and buy a meal. We are all humans. In need of love. In need of connection. You don’t find it ordinarily. You build it by showing up. @bethepeopleorg #BeThePeopleOpenCall #community #connection #Love #fyp
