Why it worked

The video likely worked by leveraging a popular influencer's curated style and a well-known retail brand to showcase aspirational fashion. The visual presentation of complete outfits on mannequins makes it easy for viewers to imagine themselves wearing the clothes.

Summary

The video showcases several outfits from Hollister's fall collection, displayed on mannequins in a store setting. Each outfit features different combinations of tops, jackets, and jeans, highlighting various styles available from the brand.

Structure

1Introduction of Hollister's fall collection favorites
2Outfit 1: Polka dot hoodie and jeans
3Outfit 2: Brown jacket, white top, and jeans
4Outfit 3: Denim jacket, lace top, and dark jeans
5Display of multiple outfits side-by-side

Product placement

Hollister: APPEARS - a brand name visible on clothing and in the caption. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
