We're gonna be watching Midori from 1992 for the first time. This is the first movie in this little series I'm doing where you guys recommended a disturbing movie and I have to watch the top comment. And Midori is the one that wins. So recommend more in the comments and then just like the comment that you want me to see next. Alright you guys, we just finished Midori and it wasn't bad. This movie is less disturbing and more really sad. Like you really feel for Midori's character. What this movie is about is this girl Midori, and she loses her parents, then she gets tricked into joining like this traveling circus. And they said they're gonna take care of her, but these people end up being like really evil. So obviously, I don't want to give too much away, but later in the movie, somebody joins the circus. It's like this little magician guy who can fit himself into a bottle. And he kind of gives her some hope. That's all I'll say. The animation was absolutely grotesque in some of these scenes, but it was honestly really cool. Some of this was definitely upsetting to watch, especially in like the first 10 or 15 minutes. There's just some really sick visuals. And one scene with the dog. There's a lot of like false hope in this movie. Like when you think things are gonna get better for her, they just do not. I understand why someone would rate the slow, just, you know, due to the themes and some of the subject matter. But overall, like it wasn't a horrible watch. Let me know what movie I should watch next.
