GREAT LAKES MEDIEVAL FAIRE

This weekend I went to the Great Lakes Medieval Fair and had the best time living my fantasy dreams. The theme for this weekend was Princess and pirates and I had such a fun time putting my costume together and making this hat. When we got to the fair, there were so many really cool vendors and I just loved seeing all the Renaissance and medieval themed artwork. There were also so many fun shows, activities, food and drink and other things to do to really immerse yourself in the festival. I had so much fun pretending that I was in a fairy tale and loved seeing everyone's costumes and outfits. And I even got to try archery. There were so many awesome trinkets. I had my eye on, especially these candles that smelled so good. It was so fun being immersed into this medieval world. Of course, we had to get a turkey egg and see the joost, which ended up turning into a real fight too. And I was able to meet this horse who had no eyes and my friend Bryson received a sword lesson. There were so many acts and shows going on, you could stop by and watch. Overall, this was just the most whimsical day and I'm I'm so excited to go to another run.
