And I know that this sounds stupid, but I actually figured this out when I was first texting my first boyfriend. Some days he was like super moody and other days it was so wacky and sent me those stupid brain rot AI videos. Then again, he went to being moody. Then again, he sent me those videos. I started doing that and when he didn't respond, it made me want to text him even more. It created an open loop in my head to keep on texting him. I know that it's a little bit toxic, but it literally works.
