Build on the Claude Platform
Why it worked
The video leverages a popular cultural reference (Harry Potter and Tom Riddle's diary) combined with a novel technological application (AI-powered interactive digital notebook). The visual demonstration of the AI responding to handwriting in real-time creates a compelling and engaging experience for viewers interested in AI and creative tech.
Summary
A developer used an AI model called Claude Fable and a reMarkable Paper Pro to recreate Tom Riddle's diary from Harry Potter. The system reads handwriting, generates AI replies, and displays them in animated handwriting on the e-paper screen, simulating a conversation.
Structure
- 1Introduction of the concept: AI creating Tom Riddle's diary.
- 2Demonstration of writing on the reMarkable tablet.
- 3Explanation of the AI's process: handwriting recognition and response generation.
Original caption
Canadian developer Maxime Rivest used Claude Fable 5 and a reMarkable Paper Pro to recreate Tom Riddle's diary from Harry Potter. The system reads handwritten notes, generates AI responses and renders them onto the e-paper display in animated handwriting, creating the illusion of a conversation with the diary itself. Rather than relying on the notebook alone, the project combines handwriting recognition, generative AI and custom software to bring the experience to life. It is a creative demonstration of how modern AI can transform familiar devices into something that feels almost magical. #ArtificialIntelligence#ClaudeAI#RemarkablePaperPro#EPaper#DigitalNotebook#HandwritingRecognition#ProductivityTech #TechNews#Innovation#FutureTech#Technology
