Bees are literally about to go extinct and I don't think people realize how crucial they are to our global ecosystem and our food supply. Bees, particularly honeybees, have been around for millions of years and are responsible for pollinating over a third of our food supply and 90% of wild plants. Without bees, our diets would lack essential fruits, vegetables, nuts. Global ecosystems would struggle to sustain wildlife. The importance of bees extends far beyond just making honey. Many people don't know this, but bees rely on Earth's electromagnetic fields to navigate, and something that is heavily disrupting those fields, you can take a wild guess, big AI data centres. They are literally building them everywhere and it's literally messing with the electromagnetic field and it's causing bees to struggle, causing disorientation and therefore causing bees to pollinate less. So here's what you can do to prevent that. Stop supporting these big AI corporations because by supporting them, you are supporting them building big data centres and they will just keep on building them. That also means stop using ChatGPT or Gemini. If you refuse to stop using AI for whatever reason, at least switch to EcoGPT because EcoGPT runs on mostly renewable energy, up to 10x more efficiently from an energy perspective compared to GPUs. It uses less water, less energy, its effects on our environment are significantly less. It's not a perfect solution, but it is much better. Save our bees and save our planet.
