This is why some dresses never seem to sit quite right. If you’re long-waisted, a waist seam that sits too low can make your torso look even longer and your waist less defined. The fix isn’t to change your body. It’s to find a dress where the waist seam actually lines up with your natural waist. Once you understand your proportions, shopping gets so much easier because you stop blaming yourself and start understanding why certain pieces work while others don’t. It’s not you. It’s the clothes. Save this for your next dressing room, and send it to someone who’s always saying, “I don’t know why dresses never look right on me.” Big thanks to @nutritiouslynicole for being our beautiful model.
