Why it worked

The video leverages a well-known figure with a dramatic "rags to riches" story, using an app that quantifies attractiveness and potential to create a compelling narrative around transformation.

Summary

The video showcases the "PSL App" which analyzes and scores individuals based on their appearance, specifically highlighting the transformation of Jeremy Meeks. It shows the app's interface and results, contrasting his past with his present.

Structure

1Introduction with text overlay about transformation
2Demonstration of the PSL App interface and scores
3Visuals of Jeremy Meeks in different contexts (mugshot, interview, casual)
4App scores displayed for "PSL" and "Potential"
5Concluding with the app's analysis

Product placement

PSL App: ACTS - it analyzes and scores a person's "PSL" and "Potential" based on their appearance. Removing it would change what happens in the video. ET: APPEARS - a logo on a microphone. Removing it would not change what happens in the video. Fab TV: APPEARS - a logo on a microphone. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
