day fifty-six of making NYC my forever home

So I'm post grad three months. Today I found out that my little brother who is still in college makes more than me. I feel like talking about that today. This is my 56th day making NYC my forever home. So for context, my little brother is 19 years old. He is a sophomore at the University of Georgia, go dawgs or whatever. And his major is in mechanical engineering. He recently got an internship with a defense company where he's been making 35 an hour. You guys, he's living at home. He's raking in so much cash. So much so that he reached out to me to ask about finding a place in Atlanta. Obvious, the difference between the two of us that mechanical engineering, he works for a defense company. Meanwhile, I majored in marketing, entertainment, and media. And I freelance and in addition to my internship and my social media manager job at Orchard. However, I think a less obvious difference between us is that I am a lot richer in experiences. I've gotten to do and be so much since moving here. Genuinely no two days are the same. And while I may work demanding hours, I'm always having fun while doing it. I don't know, that was just some food for thought and a little on the way to my main gig to get some work done. Always.
