Trust me... I barely slept the night before this. We really did try to remove the countertops in one piece so they could be reused, but the way they were installed made that impossible. Ever since I finished my custom pantry, I knew this kitchen was next. It was time to bring that same warm, old-world charm into the heart of our home. So far I've painted the cabinets, I'm almost finished building the custom range hood, and next I'll be extending and customizing both the island and the back countertops. This is so much bigger than just replacing countertops. It's about building the kitchen of my dreams with my own two hands... a place where our family and grandkids can gather for years to come.
