Traveller and gypsy People listen This affects all of us

I need every single traveller and every single gypsy to watch this video because this affects all of us. Not just Irish travellers and gypsies, it affects Scottish travellers, Welsh travellers, English travellers. Every single one of us. Now, I don't know if anybody has ever heard, but there is a charity called the Traveller Movement. Sorry, my phone was about to die. So, there is a charity called the Traveller Movement. Well, they have released a report that states 65% of Romany Gypsies and travellers agree that people from our community could be at risk of honour-based abuse from their families within the community. Well, this is not the same thing as domestic abuse because we do not deny that domestic abuse happens within the community, but it's not just within our community, it's in a lot of communities. Now, I have done a video about this not too long ago. There is two traveller women who have just started their own SIC, I think that's what it's called. SIC, these spent hours and hours reading through all this report and they have written a letter. So they need travellers and gypsies to put their names to this letter and so far they've got, I think it's 250 signatures, but they need a lot, lot more. The lady who contacted me to make a video and bring some sort of awareness to this. Her name is Genty Lee. I will tag her in this video, I will tag her in the comments. And if you go on her page, you will see the full report. A couple of the questions that the Traveller Movement asked in this survey was about underage forced marriages and acid attacks. Was about spiritual abuse and witchcraft. Now, this report will be looked at by the police, schools, teachers, social services, basically any professional people that you will be dealing with, you will be dealing with them.
