Abraham Lincoln issues a emancipation proclamation, 1863. Told the black people, you're free. Come fight for your freedom. One percent joined the human army. The plantations to pick cotton. The men were going to fight for the Confederacy. Instead, they picked cotton to sustain the Confederacy, build the ramparts for the for the defense of the Confederate army, help them. Them defeat the Union army. Another choice. After the civil war. I get your reparations. Homestead Act comes out 1866. Have 100, forget 40 acres in 150 acres. It was far past in 1863, but after and only white men could use it. But in 1866 they applied it to black. Free black men also. Have 150 acres of land.
