Air Force and Air National Guard Veteran & First Responder. I was a firefighter in the Air Force. Trained to be on the SPACE SHUTTLE out at White Sands Missile Range actually. the the day the Challenger actually exploded. I was on standby. I just recently retired. I'm around the house now. you process. but having these dogs I tell ya definitely helps. It really helps the healing process of getting over things that trauma that can bother you. JOSEPH. Marine Veteran. I was at Camp Lejeune actually. I got sick from there. I've been dealing with them for quite a while. The VA's pretty good. They saved my life a couple times. A FIREFIGHTER. I used to work for The Port Authority. I was there in '93 for the bombing at The Trade Center. I was there for 9/11. I did this for 23 years. I had a stroke, two knee replacements, shoulder replacement, this shoulder repaired, a pacemaker put in. and from the stroke I went blind. I'M LIKE A WALKING MIRACLE. You guys know he came from the Middle East. Do you know anything else about A soldier rescued and couldn't keep him unfortunately. MAX. Veteran Pup. He's had some pretty traumatic experiences. When we came here to see him, he would not come near us. He would not come near anybody. She. MAX'S TRAINER. And now look at him. We've gained so much knowledge. Coming down to PAWS OF WAR TRAINING. I'm training. She's come a long way. MAX. Loves the Sand. I rely. He brings so much joy to my household. Some guys don't know how to handle... to ask for help. Servicemen are going through a lot. We've seen a lot of trauma and they come home you need an to funnel that trama that you've seen. NINA. Max's Sister. Our two have definitely had their journey before. and you're putting the veteran and you're putting the dog together, you get that special bond that they, that closeness that they both can excel off of. Give you a purpose. I'm helping him and he's helping me. Little by littles everyday he's getting better. They all deserve a chance. They didn't put themselves there. We're both disabled vets. Right. Wow. Wow. To see how impactful dogs have been on them and their journey. It's eye opening. I was saying this earlier. We focus on THE.
