This is video of a claim 28 to 3 foot long crocodile in the Philippines named Polol. He was claimed to be a huge crocodile that lived in the same area as Lolong, a 20 foot 3 inch crocodile caught in 2011 and put in captivity. A couple years ago, I did some research on this crocodile. But more recently, I found some information that is worth mentioning. Some information that could very well expand the history of this crocodile and clarify some claims with this monster. To start off, we must know the three main facts for Polol. First, he was a crocodile considered considerably longer than Lolong. Second, he was said to be much darker in coloration compared to Lolong. And third, he was said to hang out with Lolong in the water. These are all strange details to consider. But then I discovered something really interesting. As many of you know, I've been researching crocodilians with lengths over 20 ft for about six years now. With much of my research looking into the historical reporting of this topic. Surprisingly, this isn't the first time something like this has been reported. On March 18th of 1960, a crocodile claimed to be 25 ft (7.6m) was reported in Singapore. When 15-year-old Goh Koon Seng in the area said to have seen it when helping his father fish. Quote, 'A long, black thing surfaced. I did not pay much attention at first. I thought it was a log.' 'There are many floating around here. Then its mouth opened. I screamed and turned back.' 'As I got out of the water I heard a splash, looked back and saw the crocodile's tail submerging.' After the crocodile was first seen, locals in the area were reporting waiting for the crocodile to return again to shoot it. But it was not seen during this time. However, the crocodile would be reported again on March 26th of the same year. With this one being perhaps the most compelling of the reports. The news story reported that the new crocodile was not only the same size as the black one, but white in color. Not only is the white coloration a unique detail, but the reporting is the exact same as another crocodile incident in Sarawak in the 80s and 90s. Bujang Senang. We thought it had gone for good. But today it came up again and this time with another one.' The newspaper stated the new crocodile was not only the same size as the black one, but white in color. Not only is the white coloration a unique detail, but the reporting is the exact same as another crocodile incident in Sarawak in the 80s and 90s.
