If you grew up in Leicester, you'll understand.

Leicester's really that bad compared to other cities? Like if you go London, like obviously the crime rate there is substantially higher than in Leicester. And like Birmingham, but from the Leicester that we know, like when I was a kid growing up in Leicester, me and my boys, we could just be out like even though we were still kids here, we could just be out playing football, doing whatever we did, like late, like 9, 8, 9 PM, 10 PM, whatever. And our parents wouldn't need to call us or check up on us. Everyone was out, there was like you could feel like a community spirit, like back in the days, but now I feel like everyone's at home kind of restricting themselves. They're not doing what they want to do because they're scared of going out or like they're hearing of all this stuff happening in Leicester and they just don't want to like be a victim of it, kind of thing. And I feel like it's just feels so cold and like no one's really connected anymore.
