Of all of these things that have been in my mouth, there is one set that I have not actually worn. And it's this one right here. You're probably thinking, why do you have a set of teeth on your plate that you have not worn? Well, because I just got them a couple of days ago. These off the TikTok shop. They're the Easy Denture. On the TikTok shop. That's where I got them. Showing me that they're unavailable. They probably took away my ability to link them, which is fine. So we have the Easy Denture. I am not a dentist. I am not a dentureist. I just have fake teeth and I've had a lot of fake teeth. And this is my take on teeth you order in the mail. I understand why the providers speak against mail order dentures. Mostly because like a denture isn't just a set of teeth. It's supposed to fit your mouth, your bite, your jaw. And if it doesn't fit correctly, it can create pressure in odd places. It can cause sores, spots, it can affect the way you chew, and potentially contribute to problems over time. That's why dentures are preferred to be made in person. And there's the patient side of things that doesn't really get talked about. When somebody has no teeth and they don't have thousands of dollars for dentures, they're not necessarily thinking about what's going to happen five, 10 years from now. They're thinking about how they're going to go to work tomorrow with no teeth. How they're going to smile at their kids with no teeth. How they're going to hide their face for a job interview. I've been there. And I know what that desperation feels like. I'm not going to sit here and shame someone for buying something like this. Because I understand exactly why you would. As for the Easy Denture itself, I cannot actually review it because I cannot actually use it. My teeth are supported by implants now. I can say that this is not made from the hard acrylic of a traditional denture is made of. It's a more flexible plastic material. I can't tell you how well it chews or how long it lasts or how it actually compares to a professionally made denture. Do I think professionally made dentures are the better option? Absolutely. Do I understand why somebody who can't afford them buys something like this anyway? Absolutely. Until proper prosthetic teeth become affordable for everyone, people are going to keep looking for cheaper alternatives. And I don't think it's a patient problem. I think it's an access to care problem. People are going to keep looking for cheaper alternatives. And I don't think it's a patient problem. I think it's an access to care problem.
