Why it worked

The video effectively uses a 'beginner vs. pro' format to highlight the benefits of a specific sunscreen, demonstrating a common skincare problem (white cast and pilling) and offering a clear solution. The visual comparison and the product's performance under makeup make it relatable and desirable.

Summary

The video compares two methods of applying sunscreen: a beginner method that results in white cast and pilling under makeup, and a pro method using Haruharu wonder Calm Cloud SPF60+ that provides lightweight, no-white-cast coverage perfect under makeup. The pro method involves applying two thin layers, focusing the second on high points of the face, and is shown to protect against UVA/UVB rays and sit flawlessly under makeup.
