There is just something so satisfying about finding a thrifted piece with good bones and giving it a simple little switch-up to make it feel completely new. 🦢✨ The second I spotted this swan, I knew I loved the shape, but the colors just weren’t quite right for my home. Instead of leaving her behind, I brought her home, pulled out some fingernail polish in a few of my favorite colors, and started painting! This was such an easy thrifted DIY, but I genuinely loved every part of this project from start to finish. No complicated supplies, no huge renovation and no pressure to make it perfect… just a little creativity, a few colors I already love and a thrift-store find getting another chance to be beautiful. That is honestly one of my favorite things about thrifting. You don’t always have to find something that is already perfect. Sometimes you just have to see what it could be. A new color, a little paint, a different finish or even simply styling it in a new space can completely change a piece. I used colors that already work throughout my home, which made this swan feel so much more intentional and like she was made for the room. Such a small change, but I think she looks so much better now… and definitely has a lot more personality! Thrift flips and easy home decor DIY projects will always be some of my favorite things to create because they prove that decorating your home doesn’t have to be expensive. Sometimes the best home decor is the piece nobody else wanted, brought back to life with a little imagination. Would you have picked up this thrifted swan, or would you have left her at the store? And most importantly… would you ever use fingernail polish for a thrift flip? 😂🦢 Easy thrift flip, thrifted home decor DIY, vintage swan decor, fingernail polish painting, affordable home decorating ideas, colorful vintage decor, thrift store makeover, beginner DIY project and creative thrift finds. #ThriftFlip #ThriftedHomeDecor #EasyDIY
