HomeAlone | appreciate where Mac is coming from because his idea takes into account that we live in a time where mobile phones exist, whereas Home Alone and Home Alone: Lost in New York could not work today. However, I would argue that part of the charm of the first two movies is the distance between you and your loved ones, and the eventual realisation that they are a massive part of your life. Both the parents and the child are on their own personal journeys, reconciling their behaviour. With his idea, I am not sure you could achieve that in the same way, but possibly? Also, Home Alone: Lost in New York is a superior film to the first. I will die on that hill. What do you think of his idea?
