10 things I did to lose 50 lbs naturally & keep it off 🤍 1. Walked 10,000+ steps every day. Walking is one of the most effective ways to lose weight without putting additional stress on your body. On low-energy days, 10k steps was my minimum. On good days, I did more. 2. Prioritized 8 hours of sleep. Sleep is the most underrated part of weight loss. Every night I aimed for quality sleep (and took magnesium before bed). Specifically, I love the @arrae magnesium. Recovery matters just as much as movement. 3. Limited processed foods. I focused on eating more whole, minimally processed foods to help reduce inflammation and support my hormones. 4. Swapped HIIT for Pilates. For the first two years, I stepped away from intense workouts and fell in love with Pilates. It helped me build consistency without burning myself out. 5. Added strength training later. After losing a significant amount of weight, I incorporated strength training with moderate weights and higher reps to build lean muscle and support my metabolism. 6. Stopped drinking alcohol. Removing alcohol made a huge difference for my hormones, sleep, energy, and overall health. 7. Stayed in a calorie deficit. In the beginning, I aimed for a sustainable 300–500 calorie deficit each day. Nothing extreme, just consistent. 8. Prioritized protein. Once I reached my goal weight, I transitioned to eating around maintenance calories and aimed for 30–40 grams of protein per meal to stay full and maintain muscle. 9. Stayed consistent, not perfect. I didn’t need a perfect week. I just needed more good days than bad ones. 10. Focused on building a healthy lifestyle, not just losing weight. This transformation took years, not months. And I did it that way intentionally. This is a whole new way of living for me and I plan to live like this for the rest of my life. #weightloss #pcos #transformation #balance
