About to be a friendship bracelet making factory 🧵 Loved this tutorial by @Aurelie.erikson on how to make a kumihimo bracelet using 4 strings of embroidery thread (2 in each colour), I knew I had to try it for myself!! I cut each into even strands of approx. 80cm before folding them in half and tying a knot at the middle point, so I’d be left with 8 strands to use for this design. My template was made from a cardboard circle that I then cut 16 evenly-spaced slits around the border of. This bracelet took me under an hour to put together, so it’s a great DIY to tackle while catching up on your favourite show or having a girls’ night. #friendshipbracelets #kumihimobracelet #easydiy
