Hey there, welcome back to my corner. Today we're talking about 5 starter items. 5 things that I think you need starting out on ring planners. I know it seems complicated, but once you get started, it starts to make a lot of sense once you know your size, the dimensions, and then everything else will fall into place. Hopefully, you've picked out the size that you want for your planner. Pocket / A7, A6, Personal 3.75x6.75, A5. And then there's some sizes in between, but we're not going to go into that. I personally use personal and I've been in personal since 2020 and it's my OG planner. Number one, we're gonna start with a binder. Ring planner. You can get a clear one off of Amazon for like $6 to $10. It's super cheap and it's cute starting off. Number two is dividers. This could be side dividers, top dividers, bottom dividers, or just dividers. Or if you don't want to go that route, you can use sticky notes or page tabs. Number three is calendar inserts. So you could have a monthly view insert, a weekly view insert, and daily inserts. Personally, I think starting off, you only need a monthly and a weekly view. Daily's optional. I sometimes use them, sometimes I don't. Up to you. Number four would be lined paper, blank paper, graph paper, dotted paper, some kind of blank paper for you to take notes on, scribble something down, so you could write down lists or you could just doodle for fun. Number five, this is more of an accessory to me, but I think sticky notes are really important in my planner. Sometimes when I need to remember something, I just like to get a sticky note and put it on my monthly or my weekly. Get a sticky note and put it on my monthly or my weekly. Just so it pops out.
