And just like that, our Junebug went to the place where she always catches the squirrel and the treats never quit coming🌈💔🐶🐾 I fed June her last treat today and I didn’t even know it Junebug was 10 years old and starting to not be able to hear very good…well unfortunately she was under my car this morning and I had no idea Today has been a very and long hard day The only way I can think to even begin to cope with the loss of our sweet girl is to share some memories we had with her over the years We got June from a Craigslist ad and we actually went there to get her brother, we drove all the way to South Carolina because he was only $150 and he was the closest beagle we could find that we could afford. When we got there the kids ran up to the house and a really fat happy beagle ran right up to them! She just happened to be the only one left without a home…it was fate! We took her home and she slept the entire ride home. Junebug had a holler on her that you wouldn’t believe, I mean it was LOUD…she kept doing it one day and Devin had enough so he went outside to finally get onto her and there she was standing and point to a huge rattlesnake…the whole time she just wanted us to know Junebug has been “lost” on several occasions but has always been smart enough to find her way back home, the smartest dog we’ve ever had Junebug had only one litter of puppies before we got her fixed…she had NINE puppies in her one and only litter and every single one of them survived. She was such a wonderful mama😭She also taught us that dogs can have puppies with more than one male😅she had 5 puppies with our neighbors dog and four with our other beagle😳😅 Junebug survived countless bites by god knows what, and it just so happened that she LOVED to chase and eat Junebugs Rest easy our sweet girl, thank you for always taking care of us and protecting us Please say a special prayer for us while we try to navigate and cope with her being gone💔 #grief #pet #dog #beagle #sad
