Don't throw away the mango pit after eating the fruit. Extract the seed from the pit and place it in a container to sprout. Once the sprout reaches 3 to 5 cm in length, place the seed in a water glass like this to continue growing. Using time lapse photography to document the growth process and adding some nutrient solution to the water, you can clearly see the mango seedling growing visible to the naked eye.
