Postiz

Why it worked

The video effectively demonstrates a powerful automation tool that solves a common pain point for content creators (managing multiple social media platforms). By highlighting its free and self-hosted nature, it appeals to a cost-conscious audience while showcasing advanced AI capabilities.

Summary

This video showcases Postiz, a free CLI tool that automates social media content creation and scheduling across multiple platforms. It allows users to generate posts, design images, and manage their social media calendar without needing to open individual platform dashboards.

Structure

1Introduce Postiz as a free alternative to Buffer
2Demonstrate automated content creation and scheduling
3Showcase multi-platform posting and caption reformatting
4Highlight the self-hosted, free version

Buffer's real product was the dashboard. That's the part you're deleting. Scheduling was never the hard part. Opening the thing was. Log in, pick a platform, reformat. Every tab its own small chore. Postiz ships an agent CLI. Every command returns clean JSON. Built for a model to read. So the dashboard becomes a function call. You say schedule my week. It writes, designs, and queues. Twenty plus platforms, each caption reformatted. You never open a tab. Free means no invoice, by the way. You still run the server. Like a thermostat instead of a fireplace. You set it once and leave. The tool was never the real cost. The tab switching was. Tell Claude and walk away. #postiz #buffer #claude #socialmedia #contentcalendar
