Can we please keep prom and graduation age-appropriate? Creativity is great, but not every idea fits every occasion. If this was a Halloween themed event, I probably wouldn’t have questioned it but this is a school prom. Somewhere along the line, we’ve started confusing celebration with spectacle as though every milestone has to be louder, bigger, and more shocking than the last. Prom was never meant to be a competition for the most dramatic entrance. It was meant to be a beautiful, memorable, age-appropriate celebration of a chapter coming to an end. Not everything has to go viral. Sometimes, simplicity is exactly what makes a moment special.
