Everything that you need to know before you take your driver's test this summer. Someone who passed first try without even studying. I know what I'm talking about. It's been about a year since I took it, so all this information is still fresh. My first tip is to make sure that you've actually been driving. And I'm not talking about driving in parking lots or reversing or like just parking in the driveway. Make sure you're like driving to the store, maybe driving to go check the mailbox. That being said, you need to be comfortable with driving without your parents. I don't know about you guys, but my parents were always overreacting when I was driving and it lowkey kind of made me nervous in the car. I recommend if you have an older sibling, take them. So that way you're not always nervous in the car. You need to make sure that you're paying attention. When I took my test, I was driving and she asked me randomly what was the speed limit, but I wasn't paying attention. Luckily, we were driving in like a neighborhood, so I guess like 25, 30. And I got it right. More than likely, your driving instructor is gonna ask you like what does that sign say? What was the speed limit? Okay, the next one is for when you get out of a stop sign. Make sure you completely stop. Make sure you feel the car shift back before you continue. And when you're looking left and right, be sure it's extremely obvious. For my girls like where a ponytail so they can see you like looking. I never get one that I probably should have said first. Make sure you know your car. You're probably gonna ask you to use your signal, turn on your hazard, your windshield wipers. So make sure you know where those are. There's also gonna be a portion where you have to back into a parking space. So if you can take a car with a backup camera, at the same time, make sure you're not only relying on the backup camera because then they'll take points off too. To be honest, as long as you know how to drive, you should be fine. Just make sure everything is like super exaggerated. Anyway, since someone who needs to hear it, also comment some things that I might have missed. And thank you guys so much for watching. Peace.
