From my experience, one of the biggest reasons why many people don’t see results is poor exercise technique. Then they assume the exercise just doesn’t work. And honestly, I get it. Very few people actually explain how your body should move, what muscles you’re supposed to feel, and what details make all the difference. So today I’m breaking down 3 key technique tips that can completely change how effective these exercises are. 1. Control your range of motion. Don’t try to pull your knee up as high as possible or overstretch the band. Flex your foot, stay in a controlled range, and pause briefly at the top of each rep. 2. Want to feel your hamstrings instead of your calves? Shift the movement slightly backward while keeping a 90° bend in your knee throughout the exercise. 3. Keep your pelvis stable. Don’t let your hips rotate from side to side. Keep your knees pointing straight ahead and your core engaged the entire time. Remember: it’s not just what exercise you do—it’s how you do it.
