The water-sector cyber threat is expanding. Incidents have now been publicly reported in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota, while the FBI says utilities across at least seven states have reported suspicious activity. The remaining states have not been publicly identified. In Rapid City, hackers targeted a wastewater lift station, but officials said the incident was contained and drinking water remained safe. CISA is urging utilities nationwide to remove exposed industrial controllers from the internet and secure remote access immediately. #Cybersecurity #WaterSecurity #CriticalInfrastructure
