A short-spined raccoon, believed to be internet sensation Jimothy’s father, was seen rolling around a yard in Seattle, Washington, in August last year. Anna Miller shared this video of the raccoon making himself comfortable at her aunt’s Ballard home, with the animal even pulling off an impressive sideways roll before jumping back up on his feet. Videos of Jimothy began going viral on social media this month and he quickly amassed an online cult following, including an entire subreddit dedicated to discussions, memes and art. However, according to Miller, Jimothy’s suspected father, named Danny DeVito by locals and seen in this footage, “has lived in Ballard for years.”
