For me, being a moderator has never been about status, recognition, influence or power. Throughout my journey with three different hosts, it has simply meant being discreet, kind, welcoming and fair to every member of the community. It has meant being respectful, sincere, trustworthy and loyal to my hosts while treating everyone with the same dignity and respect. Being present in many different livestreams over time, you begin to realize how difficult it is to remain true to your principles. It's easy to become caught up in competition, manipulation, control, favoritism or the desire to influence the flow of a live or even the people within it. That challenge belongs to everyone: hosts, moderators and followers alike. What we should never forget is that behind every profile is a real person. Every follower has a different background, a different story, different emotions and different reasons for being there. Each one deserves to be welcomed, acknowledged, respected and appreciated; whether they are a top gifter, a low gifter or simply a silent supporter who chooses to spend their time in the livestream. Presence itself is valuable. A genuine community is never built by a handful of names at the top of a leaderboard. It is built by every single person who contributes in their own way; through kindness, conversation, encouragement, tapping the screen, gifting or simply being there. Everyone matters. Everyone plays a part. Numbers will grow. Rankings will be reached. Success will come. But none of it happens alone. The real question is: what is the value of reaching the top if, along the way, we lose our integrity, our humanity and our respect for one another? For me, the greatest achievement is not wearing the moderator badge; it's wearing it while remaining true to yourself. Keeping your self-respect, your dignity, your values and your kindness intact. At the end of the day, titles may be given but character is earned. That is the honour I'm truly proud of.
