10 small things we changed that now save $800+ every month 😳🤯💸⬇️ We didn’t make any drastic changes or make any big decisions that caused us to change our everyday lives. We focused on doing the small little habits each week that eventually compounded over time to make a big difference. Our focus was to still enjoy our life, but make choices that were positively effecting our financial goals and ones that moved the needle closer to these goals. Which one do you think saves us the most? 👇 1. Reshopped our car insurance every year instead of auto-renewing to get a lower rate. 2. Shopped at Aldi 99% of the time & supplemented with Costco fruit & veggies. 3. Cooked 99% of our dinners at home and kept restaurant meals for special occasions or every once & a while. 4. Canceled subscriptions we weren’t using anymore (streaming, apps, memberships). 5. Paid off both of our cars and eliminated the monthly payments & put the money towards other financial goals. 6. Used a paycheck budget template so every dollar had a job before the month started and/or pay period started. 7. Set a “fun money” amount for us each pay period to prevent random overspending. 8. Waited 24 hours before making non-essential purchases to avoid impulse buys. 9. Started only buying gas at Costco or using the UPSIDE app for cash back (use my referral code: MARIE85223 for $17 cash back on your 1st purchase) 10. Focused on free or low cost activities to fill our free time or kept ourselves entertained/ busy with items we already owned. #intentionalspending #intentionalliving #savingmoney #nocarpayment #financialgoals
