are you autistic and sensitive to sound? or just sensitive to noise in general? then this video is for you!💝 as someone who is autistic and sensitive to sound this is my opinion on ear defenders and ear plugs! as well as my chain i made to keep them safe🫶 if you are looking for ear defenders i recommend getting some from @Funky Fidgets Shop 𝙻𝚃𝙳 ᵗᵐ! they are a fidget shop that specialises in sensory toys and tools for those on the spectrum or individuals who need them, i trust them with my l you are safe here (¯ ³¯)♡ backup ~ @cerys ♕ so before I learned about this product, these are what I used to use. These are my ear defenders, I decorated them so they are more like me. However, they do give me quite a lot of pressure on my head and as much as I like the pressure, sometimes it can give me a headache because of with my piercings. And I feel like I'm not going to a construction site. And that's not the look I'm going for. So I did some research and then a couple months ago, it came across Loops. So these are Loop earplugs. These are the little box that they come in. They do have many different colors, different makes of them, different sizes. And I went with the Loop Quiet twos. And this is the little box that they come in. They do have the manual inside, as well as lots of different sizes so they fit you best. And because these are quite pricey, I was really worried about losing them. So I keep mine in this little container that my dad got for me. I'll show you what they look like. So these are just incredible, they are huge game changer for me. As I do struggle with sounds and I do get overwhelmed, I'd walk to work and I was crying because of the sound. I'd always be walking around plugging my ears. So these are huge, huge game changer. I definitely recommend picking some of these up if you don't have them. They are quite pricey, but they are 100% worth it. And then I thought, I've got a little loop. So I made this loop chain. You can also use like sunglasses chain as well. If you don't have time to make one of these, I really, really enjoyed making this. And then on the end of it, is a little clip. So what this is able to do is clip onto the end of the loop that the earplug is attached to. And then you put this round the back of your neck and then you put the earplugs in as usual. And then if you don't want to wear them anymore, you can simply take it out. And then you can clip the little loop around the middle. It takes a second because of my nails. But there you go. Like that. And then you can put it back in the ear. And then you're good to go. And then once you've done everything, everything fits right back into the little pouch. So I wrote the clip this on my fidget bag when I go out. So I am able to keep them safe because I do not trust the little elastic that the loop is attached to. And then once you've done everything, you can keep them on here. And then they are ready to go. So if you are looking for some ear defenders like these ones that are really good quality, in my opinion, you should get them from Funky Fidgets Shop because they are a whole sensory shop that does things for autistic and neurodivergent people. So all the stuff is top. So if you're looking for some like these ones, I would get them from there. Definitely. And then once you've done everything, you can keep them on here. And then they are ready to go.
