If you are looking for something to do outside of Atlanta, check out the Woodlands Gardens here in Decatur, GA. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by towering trees that almost make you forget you're in the middle of a city. The garden is free to visit and it even has a little event space where you could like host your little fairytale wedding or take photos or do whatever you want honestly. And then you could walk the trails, which they give like very fairy vibes to me. I really like that. Um, you could cross the little bridge and then there's a creek that sometimes flows depending on how much water is out there. There are cute little log benches and stone benches that kind of take you away from where you actually are. There's tons of mushrooms growing. Remember, every mushroom is edible at least once. Um, there are paved trails, but most of it is just mulch. So I kind of like that. It is not pet friendly, but there are butterflies all over the place, which I love. There is also a Camellia Garden which during the winter time will look so amazing. So I can't wait to go back and see all the camellias and bloom and all those colors. And then there's also this cute little couple's chairs of Adirondack chairs that you could sit on or pack a picnic and enjoy the field. There's also this sign, "Thank you for visiting. Donate today to support this garden. Every amount helps this free greenspace thrive." You can donate if you want to support, but if you don't want to, it's completely free and something you could just do. And then there's a little sign that says "Lenten Rose".
