Oster

Why it worked

The video likely worked due to the novelty of using an ostrich egg for a DIY pet treat, combined with satisfying ASMR-like visuals and sounds of the preparation process. The transformation of a large egg into a fine powder and the cats' positive reaction to the treat would also contribute to its shareability.

Summary

The video shows the process of turning an ostrich egg into a dehydrated powder for cat treats. The ostrich egg is cracked open, the contents are spread onto dehydrator trays, and then dehydrated. The dehydrated egg is then blended into a powder using a Magic Bullet blender and labeled with a Nelko label maker. Finally, the powder is sprinkled onto cat food, and cats are shown eating it.

Product placement

Oster: an electric dehydrator used to dry out egg whites and yolks. It ACTS by dehydrating the egg mixture, and removing it would change what happens in the video. Magic Bullet: a blender used to grind the dehydrated egg into a powder. It ACTS by grinding the egg, and removing it would change what happens in the video. Nelko: a label maker used to label the jar of egg powder. It APPEARS as a tool used in the process, but removing it would not change what happens in the video.
