August already which means it's time to start planning our fall knitting patterns. So if I had all the time in the world and I could literally knit anything I wanted, these would be what I would knit. Firstly, a little shameless self-plug, I would be knitting my Barn Raglan again. Or alternatively, my Flower Raglan which comes out at the end of September. Next, I would knit something very cabley. I would knit the Froya sweater, which is such a classic. Or I would knit the Serena sweater. Both of these are just so good and I have been dying to knit a cable sweater. On some texture, it would be some sort of brioche fisherman's rib sweater. I can't find a lot of really good patterns out there. So if anybody has any specific ideas, let me know. But I do really like the September cardigan by Petite knit and I think that one's really good and I have been dying to try out the brioche cardigan. A classic cardigan. You can't go wrong with knitting a cardigan. It is so good, so classic. It is such a staple. You could wear it all year round, but it would be so good for the winter months. Next, if I wanted to knit something a little bit different, a little bit more interesting, I would knit the Sandok cable sweater, which I'm obsessed with. And I know she's coming out with more sizes in it. It is so good and I love that it's like a little bit different, a little bit unique. Lastly, if I wanted to knit something that is going for winter, I would knit the Mira sweater or the camisole number eight. Both of these would be so good for going out and they're so simple but still have really good details that fit so good for the winter months. I love the cable detail on the Camisole number eight. It really something but fun.
