Day 78 of Maintaining My Castle 🪻 The queen has decided her bath chamber deserves a little romance. Lavender in the air. Purple suds upon the tub. Fresh curtains framing the room, artwork adorning the walls, and great cascading blooms claiming their place beside the bath. At some point, maintaining my castle stopped being about simply making things clean. It became about creating a home that makes me want to linger in it. So today, I romanticized the ritual. I poured. I scrubbed. I polished away the evidence of ordinary life and left behind a little lavender dream.
