I honestly didn't think there was any saving this snake, but I got to work Put vegetable oil all over its body to get the sticky substance gone Used a qtip to gently release its jaw from the sticky trap Finally got its head freed Got the rest of it's body freed Beautiful king snake! These snakes are so crucial to our environment! They eat venomous snakes as well as rodents It was exhausted and worn out. Never tried to bite. Got a tank set up for it while all the vegetable oil comes off, then it will be released It was super thirsty, there's no telling how long it was stuck in the trap
