Flying to Hawaii on a Military Plane 🌺🌺 we took a space a military flight to Hawaii with our four month old and honestly it was such a cool experience if you haven't heard of Space a before it stands for space available eligible military members and their families can fly on military aircraft for free if there's extra room on the plane the catch is that it's never guaranteed you don't know for sure if you'll get a seat or if the flight could be delayed or canceled so it's definitely comes with some risk we ended up flying with some friends we knew and once we got on the plane we had so much space we actually had an entire row to ourselves which made traveling with a baby so much easier one of the coolest parts was seeing how the seating works instead of regular airplane seats the seats were attached to these huge pallets that were loaded into the aircraft it was definitely a different experience flying commercially since it was about a seven hour flight we packed all of our own food and even made dinner on the plane overall way more comfortable than I expected the biggest downside is that because the flights aren't guaranteed if something changes and your flight gets canceled you're still on the hook for any hotels or other reservations you've already booked so it can be a gamble but for us it worked out really well and it's absolutely amazing I'm already thinking we need to do this again and I need to find out where else these planes go
