i'm not graduating this year.

I would be graduating this year, but unfortunately, I'm not. Three years ago, I took the decision not to go to university. I decided to decline all of my options, even though I got rejected from a lot of them, and took the risk to pursue my business. Moved to Dubai, start a whole new life, just focus on getting one thing right, which was building my business. You see, when I was doing my A levels, I started a business on content creation, talent management, mixing them all up. And I'm not gonna lie, it did pretty well. It was quite happy with last year, tbh. Total revenue in, like, £160,000. Total revenue in this year (June-August): £36,000. What we have made our creators (total): £135,000. For doing. We built such a great community and it went really well. And that's why I just thought, look, I want to do it full time. I want to pursue it. And three years later, I absolutely love what I'm doing. I love talking to the people that I talk to. I love building connections. I love the industry so much that I am just so glad I took the opportunity, I took the risk, and I did what I wanted to do. If I had gone to university, I would have done business management. Wasted. I would have taken our student loan. I would have had to pay for my uni fees. And at the end of the day, I would have come out with a piece of paper showing what I've learned something. I don't even know what I would have done. You need a job, but you know, at the end of the day, I don't think you do. I don't want a piece of paper to determine my future. What life is. A university degree is something I just saw as a big fat rock that I could just move away and continue on my path. So if you are in a position where you are looking to pursue something else other than university, take the risk. You can always go back to university afterwards. You focus on what you actually want to do and don't feel pressured by what other people, especially your parents, your friends, your family are telling you to do.
