5 fairly new skincare I genuinely think are worth the money, and certainly worth mine! From toners to retinoids to body products. These are definite skincare repurchases for me and here's why. First the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner around £14. I'm late to this one but it's so good! It's a very simple formula built around astragalus root with a couple of humectants. It has this slightly thicker essence toner, very hydrating and gentle on the skin. It also layers well under absolutely anything and you get a big bottle for not a lot of money. Fluffing love it. Next is the Epii HPR Pro shot around £22. Tube No. 2. This is a targeted triple retinoid formula. 0.3% HPR, 0.1% retinal, and 0.05% retinol. Yes, it's green. No, it doesn't look green on the skin. HPR is a granactive, more stable form and it can bind directly to acid receptors in our skin, the same tretinoin does, but it does it in a more gentle way. Not only that, they've added ectoin and madacassoside for soothing support, so it's actually a gentle way of using a decent retinoid. I really like this on my forehead, on my neck as well, around my eyes is just very nice. Too much. It's been keeping up appearances on my skin. So for formula quality, the money. Then a body product or two. The Saltair body butters. Around £23 each. I've got driftwood and golden hour. I can't even begin yummy these. But, you sophisticated yummy. But the formula is actually good as well. Ceramides, fatty acids, coconut oil, seabuckthorn and more. They're properly moisturising without my legs feeling greasy. Because you know, we don't want them sitting there looking like they've just come out of a deep fat fryer. Which is all I ask, really. Moisturising me and then disappear. But leave the smell behind. Next is the most expensive one, the Medik8 x Exo-Prismatic PDRN. I'm not even gonna waste my hand. It's around £79 and combines a vegan PDRN complex and their growth factor protein. Aiming more broadly at recovery, texture, tone, luminosity. It's lightweight and super easy to layer. My skin loves it. Can't pretend it wandered in from the bargain aisle, but for me, it seems like a considered formula. Finally, the Dr Sam's Flawless Brightly Pro. Around £64. Not super cheap, but worth it for stubborn pigmentation but formulated with sensitivity in mind. Has 10% azelaic acid, plus arbutin, plus hexylresorcinol, plus kojic dipalmate, plus niacinamide, plus bakuchiol. Targeting pigmentation through several different pathways in one product. Plus it's fragrance free. It's worth the money because pigmentation is difficult and sometimes one properly formulated serum having five separate products can be helpful. More importantly, my pigmentation hasn't reappeared while using it, which it's very prone to doing. Those are my five. What have you bought recently that was actually worth it?
