Replying to @Lauren Madison 🔊 Love it or hate it? We fire the lids + trays together in the kiln for two reasons: 1. Better fit 2. Firing separately would require stilting the lids in the kiln. Stilts leave unpleasant scar marks in the glaze after firing. After firing, we sand and buff the raw clay smooth 💕
