If you're from Peoria, Illinois, you know the topic all day has been about the high school students and what they wore on the first day of school. Now, I can say, don't girls, I did they self. And I am all for dressing how you want to dress, expressing yourself through your fashion. But, I feel like it gets to a point when you're not of age. When you're underage, you got to be a little careful with what you're doing. And remember seeing one girl in particular, she had on a two top, two type of jeans. I mean, the two top was a two top, like it was like a bra, to say the least. And I don't want, because the girl that particular girl has been getting so much heat on internet, and I'm not gonna do that. But I'm just using it as an example of what I mean. We have to be mindful as young women myself, as a young woman myself, I still have to be mindful of what I wear when it comes to certain occasions, certain events, certain things. And even when I was in college, I never wore, you know, certain type of clothing to class. I mean, in high school, we don't play that. We have uniform. So on my free dress days in high school, like I still made it my business to, you know, dress business professional, business casual, whatever. That's just my type of style. And I feel like it prepares me for college. And when I wore those type of things in college, it was just normal. In my opinion, I feel like it would not be bad for high schools who have like three professional days and two free dress days. So if you want to just dress down, whatever, still be appropriate, you could be a little bit more chill. But I just think that it will help these young people really prepare for the real world, for college, because you are going to wear that type of stuff in college. And even with the whole thing with the HBCUs, pretty much coming out and saying like, no bondage, no, you know, that type of stuff. Like, you cannot go to college and wear that type of stuff. It's just not a good look. I really think they should think about doing three professional days and two free dress days. So if you want to just dress down, whatever, still be appropriate and you could be a little bit more chill. But I just think that it will help these young people really prepare for the real world, for college, for interviews, for all of that. Even when it comes to jobs, like, I don't care if it's a small job. Like, if you're going to apply for McDonald's, look nice. Just because it's McDonald's, I won't put on sweats or like, little shorts, just because it's McDonald's. You may be thinking you're going in there for a crew member position, and you didn't even realize it. You could be applying for a manager position, and you didn't even realize it. Based off how you dress, like things can change for you. So you always want to make sure you have the best first impression. And yeah, let me know your thoughts on that.
