Here's how to play as the Champion, the game's main antagonist. You only have to beat one of the five different stories in Tokon's episode mode. You can actually get through this content pretty quickly. Of course, you're watch the episodes, but if you just want to unlock the character, switch control of the cutscenes to manual, then hold down the skip through the panels. You can skip any cut scenes that pop up as well. fight a few battles, but just mash on medium attack for an autocomb that ends in a super if you have enough meter to get through these swiftly. Next, take on the Promoter, which is more of a minigame. Simply whack projectiles out of the air and perform an Assemble attack. The final fight is a little more with its multiple phases, but you can always lower the difficulty as needed. Once complete, you can use the Champion in battle. He has two different forms. In Primordial Form, the Assist button fills the Pride Gauge faster. When this is filled, with particular moves in the command list transforms him into Awakened Form. Using the assist button in this form plus forward, down, or back will trigger a unique Champion move. You can still tag a team member during the assist with the tag button.
