Pilot Pilot Kakuno Medium Pilot Kakuno Medium Let's attempt to fill out this Pilot Kakuno fountain pen and one of these inks. This apparently is a beginner-friendly fountain pen. And I got it in a medium nib. Let's attempt to fill it up. It does come with a cartridge, but I got it with a converter so that I can put in my own ink. Here's the converter. It didn't come with packaging. So I have no instructions. I think I just install it like this and make sure it's really in there. That's it. I got two different inks. One is in this like nice cobalt blue. And the other one is like a brick red. This one is Blue Reverie from Ferris Wheel Press. And this one is Bistro Parisien from Urban. I think I want to put the red one in the medium nib. Let's try it out. This bottle is really cool apparently because it has this notch here that you can just place your pen on. Isn't that cute? I'm actually really excited about this converter because the vanishing point is a screw converter, which I was never able to fill it completely. So hopefully this is an easier mechanism. You just squeeze it. I'm not quite sure how deep this needs to go. I'll just submerge the entire tip. I think that should be filled. Let me clean this up. Let's reassemble and test it out. I like it. Did I fill it properly? I love it actually. I'm so excited to be on my fountain pen journey. I love it. I'm really excited to try out this color too, but I have to wait for my other pens to come in.
