Exactly a year ago today I was walking my dog Scout and we found this Rottweiler puppy literally in the middle of the street covered in fleas and ticks. Took her to the vet, she wasn't microchipped. Got her all her vaccines, brought her home and my boyfriend said, "Okay, what are we naming her?" So we had a Rottweiler added to the family. She's had the best year of her life, the best year of our lives. She's gone traveling cross country three times. She's gone thrifting, she's gone to the beach, learned how to swim in the ocean with her brother Scout. She's gone golfing with us in Oregon. She has developed a friendship sort of with our cat Jax. She's gone hiking multiple times. This is her and Jax co-sleeping, which is rare, but it does happen. She has learned so many things and she's made our life so much better. She was there when I got proposed to this year. She's completed our family. I don't know if I've said, but her name is Bex and we've had her for exactly a year now and we honestly couldn't imagine our lives without her. Look at her. Sweet girl. Sweet girl.
