Let’s have a look and see if after a month the New Jelly Cakes Slimes Dry out. I first posted a review of these just over a month ago, and they’re really really good. The clear topper is such a nice thick chewy clear slime and lays in 2 layers of soft clay. When mined it turns into a chewy butter slime that inflates a tonne. Anyway when I relocate my first slime I will let you know how that one has held up as I dunno where I’ve put that. I have organised my slime room recently and I’ve obviously put it somewhere tok safe! Hahah Just a heads up I did add about a teaspoon of lotion to this the day I filmed it to see if it would change the texture and it didn’t really have any impact at all at the time….. however that could have helped keep this slime soft and slowed down a drying out process. Also keep in mind I have been really busy this past month so I haven’t played with slime as much as usual so these really haven’t had much love other then maybe an hour over the course of 2/3 weeks which does keep them fresher too. Anyway around the rim of the lid there was a touch of drying but it was in such early stages I couldn’t peel it off the slime so I just mixed it in! 🤣 I do find that when you leave them even over night they do settle and become firmer but after playing with them for a few minutes and warning them with your hands they turn back into butter poofy butter slimes. Like I said as soon as I find my orange one I’ll post about that, but as for this it’s held up great. Compare this to a gui gui which is also it double the price and you get half of the slime after 2 weeks it’s solid, rippy and nothing can save it! All in all I reccomend them based on this Slime. I’ll pop some info down below any about how to care for dried out slime if you want to revive any you have too! Places I know you can get these slimes: @Smyths Toys Superstores @The Scoop Queen UK Amazon 🐝 SLIME CARE INFO 🐝 All slimes after extended play will dry out and shrink. Slime is 90% water and clay drys out even quicker then slime too. When you play with slime your hands and the air absorb moisture in the slime, shrinking it, making it go hard and eventually completely drying it out. You can slow this down and revive slime by reintroducing the water that has been lost. Add 1/2 teaspoons of warm water and mix it through at a time until you meet your desired texture. For extra softness added some lotion or a few drops of glycerine will help a bunch too. #jellycakeslime #jellycakes #slime #ukslime #emmabeeslimes
