Camping update! We survived our first night camping! 😂 Honestly… I think I’m just a scaredy-cat. My boys slept perfectly fine, but I was the one lying awake for a while because we kept hearing animals. My husband kept joking that it was this animal and that animal, and I was convinced something was going to come eat us. 😂 Thankfully, we’re all alive and well! Waking up this morning made every bit of it worth it. There’s just something so peaceful about opening your tent to a beautiful, crystal-clear river. The first thing we did was walk down to see the fish and turtles, and then we jumped in for a morning swim. It was absolutely amazing. This has been such a beautiful experience for our family. No screens, no distractions just quality time together in nature. I truly think every family should experience old-fashioned tent camping at least once. If you’re looking for one of the best places in Texas to camp with your kids, I 1000% recommend @thequinceatcampwood ! The river is gorgeous, the water is crystal clear, and the owners are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. We will definitely be back! ❤️🏕️🌿 #campwoodtexas #ulvadetexas #FamilyCamping #campingintexas #sanantoniotexas
