I am proud single enough about being single. There's this level of shame around it. There's this level of like, oh, I'm in my 30s and I don't have kids and like, even if you're a woman, like, yes, you have like more biological worry about it. But also, if you don't have kids, like your life isn't over. You don't have to be sad about it. You can be happy now and you can also be happy later when you decide to have kids. You don't have to be depressed now because society says you should have kids at 25. Your biological clock is ticking. Tell them to go fuck themselves. Why now? Who are you to tell me that being not 36 years old is a bad thing? Because I would rather spend the next three to five years making fucking my life direction. That I know where my family is going to go when it is time for me to lock in and do that, right? Then spend the next 50 years wishing that I would have waited a few years.
